You are a Christian. You just don't know it.

All beleifs about the rights of the individual rather than permission from some king or Pope come from protestant Christians. Before Protestants that concept didn't exist. Humans were simply fodder for kings or the Pope.

So if you believe in that you are Christian. You don't have to believe in the supernatural part.
