Yeah, many years ago I was arrested and charged with a serious felony. I was questioned, with no attorney present, several times by the Sheriff and his Senior Deputy. Their attempts to be intimidating and also playing the old, "We can't help you if you won't tell us what happened," game, were almost comical. They seemed to be unaware that I was a former Sgt. in the Marines and a war veteran. I had even attended classes in the Marines on ways to survive intense interrogation. The Marines who taught those classes were much more "scary" and intimidating than the Sheriff and his Deputy could ever hope to be. The Sheriff later remarked to someone that I was the coldest subject he had ever questioned. LOL I even told the Deputy, during my questioning, that I thought he should find other work, because I felt that he wasn't "cut out" to be in law enforcement. I pretty much called him a pussy right in front of the Sheriff. After a while a judge got tired of their shit and dismissed the case. They tried to file charges against me again, but our state Supreme Court ruled that once a case was dismissed, it would be Double Jepardy to charge me again. So, here I am, all these years later, guilty as hell and free as a bird!
