as someone who has gone to several of those gas sites, i am surprised sometimes how easy it is to get in those facilities. Some are can be very difficult with armed guards. Any thing attached to water way has marsec (maritime security). Places like medford do not have armed guards but they do have some level of security to keep people out. But who is to say some dude with bolt cutters didnt cut through the fencing.
