They should have buried a big ass magnet underneath the stones; it would have messed with compasses and got people talking with even more crazy theories. Missed opportunity.

They should have buried an empty box with the inscription: "If you can invent a time machine and a teleportation device, you can have the 50 gold bars contained within." Missed opportunity.
