Considering how some cut-rate contractors install gas line, I'm surprised there's not a constant parade of explosions in some places.

My house, in south east TX was built in 1968. 6 months ago the (natural) gas company came thru the neighborhood and replaced the gas lines along the street and up to the gas meter. As far as I know the gas pipes inside the house are original. Though they were tested when we bought the house 2 years ago. I hope they're still good.
Wylie?
Nope closer to Houston.
