My wife runs a Pilot travel center. Shes been feelin some weirdness for awhile. Warren Buffet just took over 90% of Pilot. Bought it a couple years back I think. Im pretty sure he owns some railroads.

Well this is an easy fix cut that environmental bullshit off your motor and then you don't need DEF. It's only there because of environmental regulations.

I get that. Just learned that all over 2010 models cant run without def. Computer shuts em down. I drive an 86 dodge 4×4. Didnt know. I think there are alot of people just as ignorant as me about this shit. Not to mention the company drivers that have no control over what they drive. Idk. Just thought id bring it up incase nobodys payin attention.

Yeah you will have to hack the computer or fake it out by hooking up dummy sensors to it so it think it's got what it needs. Wouldn't be surprised if there's stuff out there you can use to do that and the fuel injection cycle on a diesel isnt that complicated so it might be possible to just replace the whole efi computer with an arduino. I bought a used 2013 kubota tractor because after 2014 they started requiring all small diesel engines over 24hp to have the reheat stage and use DEF with an accompanied efi computer.
