Worst part is, when one part fails it's likely to pull down the entire section of network.
Happened a few years ago. Took 7 days to recover. Was a huge swath of central Canada.
They identified how that domino effect happened and have fixed it. When the next outage happens it will be contained to the local grid.
I hope your right on that one. Was cool to see everything shutdown for a few day though.
