That only works when the flaws are not initially known or before first offer. But if the flaw is much worse than advertised...
you said it has four wheels. My offer was based on that.
That explains why twitter all of the sudden was cleaning up the bots. If Twitter misrepresented the bot numbers it allows Musk to back out and renegotiate.
Edit: Just look at this twitter user. He lost 99% of his followers when twitter cleaned up the bots. https://socialblade.com/twitter/user/justsomeguycc
Yes. 10% bot population means they were overvalued by the market and they've confirmed false filings. This means his best offer is invalid. This also means a market revaluation is in order. His best offer can follow downwards.
Of course, all speculation how it will shake out, but even a 10% correction saves him 4 billion dollars.
One other thing worth pointing out is that right wingers gained a bunch of subscribers. I suspect twitter had a lot of right wingers marked as bots, I guess shadowbanning them and not having them be reflected in the follower counts. When they had to get rid of left wing bots, the numbers were so egregious they had to unshadowban right wingers to compensate so that their bot numbers wouldn't look abysmal.
Holy cow. Lost 18,000 followers in 30 days. Sounds like someone bot (hehe) themselves a botnet of followers.
