Exactly. This likely also means Twitter had more than 5% bot population. At some point the math relates to cost per user.

He may be able to shave 10%-15% off the price. Who knows, maybe more. That's big numbers.

Mentioning bot numbers is just a negotiation tactic. It's like when you buy a used car you point out all the flaws in an attempt to get the seller to lower their price even further.

That only works when the flaws are not initially known or before first offer. But if the flaw is much worse than advertised...
