People do not pump their own gas in Oregon. I always thought that was pretty civilized

Pump your own gas, it'll be cheaper goy. I'd rather have someone else do it for a few cents per gallon more just to avoid the fumes.

Small price to pay. A lot of people don't stick around to make sure that the gas doesn't overfill. At least full service would avoid spills.
