Amazing how much the Democrats now LOVE fences after all the years they fought against them to protect the nation's borders. Also amazing how they feel the need to fence off the place Biden is giving the SOTU address. There's really only one reason they feel the need for these fences: to protect themselves from the public that is angry at what they are doing.

I think it's not that, exactly. I think they're doing it to promote the idea that the public is potentially violent and angry. They can use that to justify any additional crackdowns they want.
