This has to be stopped. Honest people need to make it an issue. Police will click a button, your car will self-park by the side of the road. Criminals of course will find a way around this, but honest people will suffer and have their freedom impeded by police stops whenever they feel like it. Police will abuse this button to stop good looking women, their ex-wife's boyfriend, and all the usual abuses.
Look at how they punish things like counterfeiting if you want an idea of how they'll punish you if you hack your kill switch too.
