I have friends and/or family in a number of places on the west coast, from Tampa down to Marco Island, as well as in Orlando, Tallahassee, and Fort Lauderdale. I can abide by the heat so long as I can get to the water. (Orlando is a no-go zone for me.)
If I do indeed move down I'd need to be within a reasonable commute distance to Fort Myers, so I can go into the office a few days each month. That's a pretty wide swath of SWF to choose from.
