This is no bullshit:
Back in the early 2000’s, I was going to do some contract work for Goldman Sachs at one of their buildings in Lower Manhattan and they are like something out of a movie:
When you get your pass from the Lobby Security/Reception, that is not to actually go anywhere in the building. You are immediately led to this door right off to the side of the front desk that is camouflaged with rest of the lobby stone. You go in there and it is this entire vetting area that looks like a miniature police precinct where you have a drug test and submit your prints for an FBI background check. I want to say I was also interviewed, but I can’t remember. It was wild, though. No one goes anywhere in that building unless they’re fully backgrounded.
