I was flipping channels - I only have OTA broadcast networks and haven't had a TV for 10 years until last month - and caught Weekend Update. It was painful.
Also: NOBODY and I mean NOBODY watches SNL anymore.
Seriously. Ask your family, friends and coworkers. Nobody watches this show. Nobody has watched it since the early 00's back when the Will Ferrell cast was still part of it. SNL is like "30 Rock". Nobody watched it, yet it won Emmy awards year after year and supposedly had these high ratings.
I don't think I've intentionally sat down to watch SNL since middle school. (about 30 years ago).
This is how the lockdowns start.
Celebrities contact COVID and then get booked on Good Morning America and The Today Show to push for "safe measures". In response, we go into local and then state lockdowns and your small business gets screwed because fuck you.
