Sometime after Xmas and before 2-3 months before the midterms, Harris will resign. (probably early January) A second vice president will be appointed and will slowly come to the front as the new "leader", it will be the mainstay for the remainder of Biden's presidency. ( Biden will be allowed to fade into the background). So the democrats could be preparing the way for for someone to lead for 2 + 4 + 4 years, as both the defacto and then president. The problem with this, though, is I can't think for the life of me who it could be. They all seem so useless.
