The prosecutor's argument is that "by having the ability to defend yourself, you forfeit your right to defend yourself." This prosecutor should be disbarred. His arguments are absurd and have nothing to do with enforcing the law but rather a political viewpoint. We've reach the point where a rioting felon or someone with an illegal gun can chase after someone and the state protects the criminals.
