I don't know man... I mean, I hope reckoning is coming soon, but there's a reason some believe God is dead.

If the first God died there should a replacement already there, it seems as if a hierarchical structure that still exists. I think the angels are still working, although they allow for a certain amount of evil as well, it does seem like the way they interact with humanity has changed from ancient ways in order to advance our evolution.
