Fuck. I gotta get in board with her company. I don't get shit but headaches.

Tax deductible to her. Wonder if IRS will tax the gift on the employee side? /rhetorical ?

Valid points, but after tax that is still $6600. Considering the average American takes home $55K a year or so, that’s a pretty sweet haul.

Don't need no stinkin' plane ticket. I have Michigan. Only gotta wait until everything thaws, then we can all drive up north. What do you want? Sandy beach? Check. Wilderness camping? Check. Glamping? Yes. Fishing? Yep. Snort coke off of a strippers asscheek? We can make arrangements.

>Snort coke off of a strippers asscheek?

How do you keep a stripper warm Michigander?

Still she didn’t have to give them anything

This isn't the generous gift the title makes it out to be.

Blakely, 50, surprised employees with the generous offering while announcing that she sold the company for $1.2 billion in a partnership with the investment management company Blackstone.

So she sold the company to an (((investment management company))) and now the employees are under new management that will likely shake up the company and restructure them out to be replaced by diversity hires. Blakely did this to distract the workers during the transition so they wouldn't bolt. She made $1.2 billion and they get crumbs for building up her business to that value. Anyone who works there and is excited for this "generosity"- well I'd like to see what they think of it in six months to a year when the (((buyer))) takes over.
