I'm not reading that "news" article as I don't, as a general rule, read garbage off of web-sites that are advertising books about when the rapture will happen. That said, the powers that be can't just "call in the guard" for this, that and, another thing. There is a point of diminishing return. These people (in the guards) have REAL day jobs at factories or behind truck steering wheels. If they just "called in the guards" to fix supply chains they would be breaking other supply chains. How many Guardsmen work at shipping companies already? is the federal government going to fix anything by pulling them out of work, having them dress in uniform and then learn a NEW shipping job in a day?

Just like with slavery they'll get exactly what they paid for. Sure you might be able to pick up a few additional drivers, but they won't know how to get in or out of the ports efficiently. They won't know the right drop off locations or the truck routes to get there. Adding a whole bunch of inexperienced people to this problem with just make it worse with lost deliveries, incorrect paperwork, and broken machinery. They'll literally get in the way of people who are solving the problem. However, given the Biden regime's other actions, I suspect making the problem worse is their goal.
