I call BS. I live in southern Az and shop at Mexican carniceria's and such, nobody cares about it. No way does it out sell, Tapatio, Frank's, or several lesser brands even.

Have a look at the complete list of each state’s most popular brands below, according to Instacart’s purchase data.

Instacart data. That tells you the data is highly skewed. Most people aren't buying their hot sauces from an online shopping service. People buying hot sauce in a store are more likely to buy smaller and local brands that won't appear on Instacart data. The data is biased and probably serves the big national brands as a sort of stealth marketing campaign to increase sales by obscuring small brands.
