Yup.I heard the same.

Imagine cleaning up body parts and nasty sickness for minimu.wage.

And most ambulance companies have a near monopoly so they charge thousands of dollars and pay nothing.

I don't get that - you're dealing with some of the worst things a private citizen can deal with, and they want to pay nothing. My friend kept his certifications, he was the local CPR trainer until he moved on to better things.

Everyone hears "The medical field pays great" So they want to save people so they train to be an EMT.

Well it USED to pay well 20 years ago. Then they let monopolies take over cities. Now those monopolies control wages.
