I did it! It was great. But, I walked a fine line, living within your means and not borrowing money vs. taking care of your family and living decently. It worked out, but luck stepped in many more times than I expected and bailed me out of my mistakes. It was touch and go a few times (hid that from my wife) but it all worked out in the end. I beat the odds, because today, the odds are stacked against a middle class single income family in America.
