Cold fusion or is it fusion? I failed 3rd grade math
Fission occurs when a neutron slams into a larger atom, forcing it to excite and spilt into two smaller atoms. Fusion occurs when two atoms slam together to form a heavier atom releasing energy like what happens in the Sun. Cold Fusion is the holy grail of energy and entirely theoretical. Essentially the bonding would be chemical at room temperature and pressure instead of at the thousands of degrees and millions of pounds of pressure what is necessary in a star or thermonuclear detonation.
Thorium is used in which one??? David Adair owns several Thorium reactors. We all know you can trust anything on the WWW.
Thorium Reactors use Fission. Thorium is not fissile material itself.
