Ever take care of a relative with dementia? He finally flaked out enough that I could call for an ambulance to pick him up with a possible stroke. He showed his ass enough in the hospital they wanted to slough him back off on me, I had to threaten them with a lawsuit because he was obviously a risk to himself and others so they would admit him. They had to strap him to the bed, it took 2 interns and two security guards to restrain him. The doctor knew exactly what he was doing when he prescribed Haladol and morphine, and I agreed. It was an easy checkout for him. He simply slept until he croaked. 2 nights in the hospital and 3 nights in the hospice. Tell him what he won Johnny! A free 5 night vacation to the promised land.
