He thought he'd save his skin by testifying against his friends. Shouldn't have plead guilty to something thought up by the FBI.

But honestly, folks, if this had been legit, and Whitmer had actually been kidnapped, would that have been such a bad thing? Let's say, for the sake of discussion, that she was found dead in the trunk of a burned-out car ... would Michigan be worse off, or better off?
