In 1986, GHW Bush started fully backing the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, and transferring the CIA’s opium operations from Central America to Afghanistan.

In 1998, the Taliban began tearing out the CIA’s opium fields, and a high-ranking CIA officer (whose name escapes me, methinks started with a B) declared total war on the Taliban.

9/11 had been planned since the 80’s and firmly set in 1996 to be undertaken. What followed was effectively an intelligence agency civil war, then buttloads of the usual battleground BS.

Osama bin Ladin was GW Bush’s cousin by marriage, for fuck sake! Nobody really was concerned about terrorism; yet I saw Karl Rove yesterday (looking exactly the same, ¿WTF?) spouting the same old bullshit about “the terrorists who did 9/11.”

No Karl, the terrorists who did 9/11 have been in every presidential administration since 2000, you cocksucker; which you very well fucking know!

Everything about Afghanistan is a lie!

We use the failure to describe many administrative outcomes. I propose that failure is only looking at the outcome from our perspective.
