Today in Phoenix was 115.
Tramonte, 31, had traveled to the area from her home in Saugus, Massachusetts
And no water.... No wonder she died.
Still though, that’s a very popular trail. Used to live there and have been on it many times in the dead of summer with out water. Granted, a newbie unaccustomed to the extreme heat would find it difficult without water so she did the right thing to turn back. She didn’t seem distressed to anyone else on it, or ask for help? Very rare that no one else is on that trail, even on hot days. Seems like the type to ask for help. Didn’t have a cell phone to dial 911? Doesn’t seem like the type to be without a cell phone under any circumstance and especially out on a date with a stranger in a strange city. Having worked construction there I know heat can overcome you pretty fast, but still…..this is an odd one. Wonder if she had the jab?
