And the CDC has the authority to do that why?
They don't, really.
The Supreme Court specifically said they exceeded their authority, but didn't lift the ban because it only had four days left to run anyway.
The problem is localities and courts will still take this as valid.
It's great when landlords have to pay property taxes, or electric and water bills for tenants without getting any rent back to pay for it.
