I drive cross country from time to time and NPR always comes in clear while every other station fizzles in and out. Could be the most desolate road too.
Sometimes I'll even have NPR on two separate frequencies at the same time.

There are a lot of local NPR stations. It's a shame, they could use their power for good instead of for communism.
