This is how people will end up "eating the bugs": through lovely sounding regulations.

All of it started in the aftermath of the regulations of the early 1900's, where mom and pop butchers were put out of business while the giant slaughterhouses had the money to comply with the new laws. Now, California is again being the prototype for social engineering by driving meat production prices through the roof under the guise of "animal welfare".

If the farmers would have stood their ground and not cucked to the government (early 1900s) in the first place we wouldn't be in this situation.

Commercial farms are disgusting and they do treat and care for the animals like shit. They over produce meat, over farm the land. Real farmers do not operate that way. Real farmers respect animals and the land.
