This is how people will end up "eating the bugs": through lovely sounding regulations.
All of it started in the aftermath of the regulations of the early 1900's, where mom and pop butchers were put out of business while the giant slaughterhouses had the money to comply with the new laws. Now, California is again being the prototype for social engineering by driving meat production prices through the roof under the guise of "animal welfare".
and yet no one talking to muslims about bleeding out what they slaughter....
I never see hallal stuff in a grocery store, but I do see kosher stuff. Both practices should be banned.
