i've always been wondering when/how they were going to push the phone/chromebook model on everyone and get them away from real computers. I thought windows10 was one way, but they actually legislated it.
Eh. A pentium 4 can run 1080p videos. I think this is just a method of control and has nothing at all to do with getting rid of computers.
it could easily be slippery slope.
"a laptop can run on 65W, so you should have desktops that are 65W or less"
"a phone can run on 1W, so you should have desktops that are 1W or less"
The goal of having a fully controlled OS like android/ios
could slippery slope
Don't. That's no way to view things. Just solve the (((problem))), don't pretend there's future (((problems))).
