The fact the media are reporting that lightning struck the mural means that that did not happen. I bet the real story is far more interesting. I'm a little bit surprised no one had a camera pointing at it in case of vandalism. Anyway, I expect it was actually vandalism, freak lightning strike sounds too pat. Funny but unlikely.
