Refusals should need no justification, no need to hide behind religion, no reason needed as to why someone was refused service, no basis for refusal that's not permissible.
If they don't want to serve you, whoever you are, for any reason, or for none at all, they should have the right to do so.
Because that's thei half of the contract, and they should have full control over all aspects of it, including (but not limited to) who they offer their part of the agreement to, what is being offered to them, and on what terms their offers are extended to them.
Refusals should need no justification,
They don't. People are making the mistake of giving a reason. Which is then where the (((charges))) stem from. Any business can refuse anyone services at any time for no reason at all. Just to refuse service. That's it.
These shop owners, when asked, need to just say;
because
And when pushed they need to trespass the individual.
