You can try it as a "thought experiment", provided you're White. You (white person in LA) are perpetually surrounded by Blacks, Browns, & Yellows, but every "news" outlet in the country continually refers to the majority of Blacks/Browns/Yellows as "minorities", and to top it off most of the Whites you know or meet side with the media.
