One of my best friends had to serve three days in jail for reckless driving because he was doing 90+ miles per hour on the way to work coming downhill from a tall bridge in a new car he bought the day before. Nobody was injured. Nothing was harmed. He worked the graveyard shift, so the road was empty. Up to that point he only had one previous ticket for 10 over in a 65 zone. The judge said he was being lenient because my friend had a relatively clean driving record.
