"We have a responsibility to make sure that we don't harm a patient," retired St. Luke's CEO says
Funny how they don't feel that responsibility when over prescribing opiates or statins. Funny how they don't seem to feel that responsibility when it comes to hospital acquired infections like pneumonia or MRSA. Premature births plummeted during the covid lockdowns likely in part because expectant mothers were avoiding all of the unnecessary tests they try to force on them. Funny how they don't feel any responsibility to reduce that harm. So much of our current medical system is focused on profits regardless of patient outcome. Now we're supposed to believe they're forcing this gene therapy crap on providers to protect patient health.
