If certain towns want to preserve their small-town feel, they must turn down the money, hurting the towns and leading to a sizeable infusion of taxpayer dollars for Democratic-dominated cities.
I'm in favor of not accepting any money from the federal government. The real cost is way too high.
do you pay taxes?
Yes. Too much. Towns have become too dependent on federal tax dollars. The problem is once towns get federal funding, they become dependent on it. Then the federal government starts forcing all kinds of stipulations. I recently moved to a different state to avoid the old town I lived in from being a slave to the federal government. I now attend local town meetings and vote against applying for federal funding for schools and other town desires. I remind them of the stipulations for this money.
Taxes are a major reason I left the US. Same with what was done with the tax money. Absolutely horrible socialist redistribution. Warping economies, destroying families and communities. Nightmarish shit and everyone supports it. If you don't fight back or leave then you support it.
