How, exactly, does Biden plan to end single-family zoning? According to the fact sheet released by the White House, “Biden is calling on Congress to enact an innovative new competitive grant program that awards flexible and attractive funding to jurisdictions that take concrete steps to eliminate [‘exclusionary zoning’].” In other words, Biden wants to use a big pot of federal grant money as bait. If a county or municipality agrees to weaken or eliminate its single-family zoning, it gets the federal bucks.

Local communities in Florida are opposing President Joe Biden’s reconciliation infrastructure package, which attempts to “destroy” the suburbs by replacing local zoning laws with federal laws, allowing high-rise, low-income housing next to a single family homes.

During the communist takeover of Russia they would send activists into neighborhoods to cause trouble. That made people move to the cities where they wouldn't be troubled. Blacks in the suburbs cause the same response. These people are evil and won't stop. If blacks move to my neighborhood you've just given me an army of sacrificial dummies. Beware.

If certain towns want to preserve their small-town feel, they must turn down the money, hurting the towns and leading to a sizeable infusion of taxpayer dollars for Democratic-dominated cities.

I'm in favor of not accepting any money from the federal government. The real cost is way too high.

I live in a nice community in a medium sized city in CA, not far from a medium sized metropolitan area. It’s a small community off a major freeway with idyllic streets, a small shopping center that nobody else really uses, very little crime, and mostly high 700s - low million dollar condos and homes. The residents are primarily knowledge work professionals, maybe 1/2 white, 1/2 Asian and Indian. It’s a really nice place.

Tucked away near the freeway, there’s a section 8 apartment complex, maybe 100 units or so. It’s residents stick out like a sore thumb, like smoggy old piece of shit cars in a sea of Teslas. Any time there’s a quality of life disturbance, it’s them. Anytime there’s a robbery, it’s them. Anytime you feel unsafe walking around the neighborhood, it’s them.

I pay a lot to live here. I already pay for their food and housing and fake disability and incarceration and health care. I got educated and work hard to make enough money to live here because I want to be around like minded similar people who also work hard, mind their own business, are peaceful and tactful and polite, and share my values. It’s just fucking obscene, I don’t understand why they get to live here too and denigrate the quality of this neighborhood we all are working so hard to build.

Solution: Only corporations MUST pay taxes on the VALUE of the properties they own
