Of course a defense attorney would get anyone to do and claim anything that might help them in court. That is their job. That aside even a connection between basically charges of various levels of trespassing and any political agenda are really wrong. Either they did or didn't break some trespass rule. WHY they did it is immaterial or SHOULD be. But if its a DC judge who knows?
