The conclusion, by the way, was that the anti-CRT dad has been “charged by the local police department with ‘improper influence,’ after he allegedly threatened to release a recording between himself and the deceased father of school board chair Tyler McGinley if McGinley didn’t resign.” Another key school board member his anti-CRT campaign sought to remove was re-elected.
The NBC article, as a whole, was demoralizing and likely full of half truths and propaganda, and it was long. Each paragraph took a bit more out of me as I tried to glean real information out of it.
This doesn’t mean we should give up. Quite the contrary. However, I recommend staying focused on the facts of what CRT is, what its euphemisms are, such as “equity,” and avoid reading national news accounts, even from “friendly” sources.
Don’t align with the “national” movements too tightly, either. Stay loose, “decentralized,” and keep your head on a swivel. Use the national group materials, use good tactics, and honestly, keep under the radar of news organizations as much as possible until you win, then decimate the opposition.
This fight is going to get uglier. I would almost pity the poor bastards on the other side, if they weren’t actively seeking to harm children for political and financial gains.
