McDonald's actually has the best french fries in the fast food industry when they're fresh. I know that's not saying much, but every other chain has worse french fries.
That said, the seasoned fries from Popeyes are quite good but they're not french fries.

Good luck finding French fries made without soybean oil at any restaurant or store. Even the frozen Ore Ida fries use soybean oil. Your only option is making them yourself.
Or not eating them.
