Yep. They actually should be burnt, but cleanly as possible. Down in Mexico they use them to fire tile/ceramic kilns. I'm sure this is not US powerplant level clean burn by any stretch of the imagination, but as long as they burn nice and hot there is little nasty pollution.Tires are a lot less toxic than most people might know. Mostly carbon.
