Speaking from experience I can say like 90% of “homeless” people are on the streets by choice and would spit in your fucking face if you tried to help them. A lot of these people are so far gone off the deep end from drugs that you will get a negative reaction to anything besides money and drugs. I am just saying i wouldn’t take a fucking crackheads word or pity for shit. Some people are just like that. Fuck them.
Um...speaking from MY experience, very few people want to be homeless. A third are mentally ill, a third are chronic dopers and drunks, and a third are temporarily fucked because of divorce, bankruptcy, medical issues/bills.

Mental illness Disabled and cant afford rent with gov check Temporary homeless like evicted, car died, looking for affordable housing, bad credit ect Unemployment. Underemployment. If you lose a good job replacing it with Wendy's isn't going to cut it. hit 18 at orphanage, told to go to shelters hit 18 kicked out of home by parents / adopted parents / foster (had a friend that this happened to)
