Mixed feelings. On one hand, how can you criminalize homelessness? Where are they supposed to go? We've closed the asylums.
On the other, we've seen what happens when you allow homeless camping: LA, Portland, Seattle, SanFran... the space becomes unusable for anyone but the homeless, making it, in effect, no longer public space.
No easy solutions.
