It's the soft launch fir UBI. Get people hooked on the extra money and then they'll demand more of it. As for paying for it, they'll just conjure up more our of thin air, create hyperinflation then we'll be forced into "you'll own nothing and be happy". It's all part of the plan. Sheep will gladly accept it as the new normal.
