There's already precedent somewhere - I think. I swear there was an incident just like this and the jury either sided with the jogger or they declined to press harsh charges because "muh hate crime".

Words can never be a hate crime and of course never in any instance should they justify a violent reaction. But in Clown World logic and reason leave the building

Isn't it crazy? A nigger jumps you, and you turn it around and end up beating the shit out of him, shouting profanities as you're in the heat of a desperate struggle.

You'll be arrested for a hate crime simply because you called him a nigger while you were pounding his skull into the ground after he tried to mug you or w/e. They'll hold you accountable for something as absurd as "the noises your mouth makes while in a violent conflict with someone who wants to hurt you", and turn you into the "hateful" one.

When a man murders a man who is sleeping with his wife, is that not done out of hate? See, hate is such a nebulous term now- it used to just mean "a strong dislike", but now it's all tied up with race, religion, class, and everything else you can think of. So that makes it easy to legislate.
