They shouldn't kill them. They should transport the buffalos to where they are wanted, and then let the herd grow very big. Native animals are more effective in turning the native vegetation into meat than other animals. With bison running free, you can have a replacement for beef that's cheaper, as it takes less human work to maintain and grow. It''s undeniably carbon-neutral so Billy G can go fuck himself.
