Racial stereotypes that link Black people to criminality lead to excessive surveillance of Black people in stores

I can not imagine how these racial stereotypes got started. I mean, the Chinese, Indians, Europeans, Japanese and so on don't seem to have those stereotypes. Only niggers do. Go figure.
