I've seen mention where people said that you can download images from such-and-such sites, but I've never been able to reproduce the results. If I find something, I'll try and remember to reply with the info.

I usually keep my 2m radio nearby (or on) this time of year. The local weathernet is decent about reporting what's going on in the area.
